Described as ‘an excellent coach with a generous spirit’, Lorraine coaches and teaches individuals and organizations how to manage stress and to find meaning in their work and lives.  Mindfully, she guides people to greater self-awareness, self-compassion and clarity to live and work with purpose.

 

A skilled coach and mindfulness teacher, Lorraine is passionate to educate and inspire others to make a positive impact in the world by playing big and showing up in life.  She has become intrigued at how powerful we become when we tune in to and cultivate awareness of how our minds work.  Lorraine is devoted to transforming and inspiring others to explore and create a compelling life.

 

Lorraine is best known for her coaching and teaching excellence and for the creation of ‘Mind-Fit’, a comprehensive course on Mindfulness & Meditation, based on the influential Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program.  To date, thousands of people have completed and have been inspired by both in-person and on-line Mind-Fit training programs and workshops.  Most recently, Lorraine has added Mind-FIt professional training programs for coaches, medical professionals and counsellors.

 

Lorraine earned her Bachelor of Education in Adult Education from Brock University and her Master of Science in Mindfulness Studies from Aberdeen University, Scotland and has been a professor for the past 20+ years at a Toronto area College. She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and hold PCC certification through the International Coach Federation.  Lorraine is also certified as an EQi-2.0 trainer and holds designations in hypnosis and NLP.  Lorraine has been practicing mindfulness and meditation for over 20 years and completed her MBSR teacher training with world leaders Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli. 

 

Lorraine's clients include the private and public sectors, as well as hospitals and educational institutions.
